STUDENT INTERNSHIP ABROAD PROGRAM

Internship is vital in building the foundation of a student’s career. It is a great tool to improve employability of students after graduation. More so when it is done abroad wherein not only practical skills and professionalism are developed but also communication, human interaction and culture adoptability as well. Student Interns will learn time management and have the opportunity to experience actual work in the real world.

AIM

  1. To provide tertiary enrolled students the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge, skills and desirable attitude;
  2. To enhance student’s work values, competencies and discipline as they relate to others in a multicultural work environment;
  3. To promote global competitiveness through training, exposure and acculturation in a foreign country;
  4. To strengthen and enrich the degree programs in order to deliver knowledge and skills necessary in a dynamic competitive world;
  5. To protect and safeguard students undergoing foreign internship from harassment, exploitation and deplorable training conditions or defeat the purpose of internship.

INTERNSHIP IN JAPAN APPLICATION PROCESS

1. UNIVERSITY-INDUSTRY PARTNERSHIP

The Student Internship Aboard Program (SIAP) provides opportunity to enrolled students of Higher Education Institutions (HEI) to acquire practical knowledge, skills and desirable attitude in recognized Foreign Host Establishment (FHE). A Memorandum of Agreement shall be executed between HEI and FHE and must strictly observe the SIAP rules and guidelines.

2. APPLICATION

After the partnership between HEI and FHE, the HEI can now recommend interested and qualified students to join SIAP. The application will be done through the HEI representative in the Philippines (LEAD TRAINING AND BSINESS SOLUTIONS). The representative hsall check the student documents and recommend for interview and placement.

3. INTERVIEW AND PLACEMENT

With the recommendation from your University, the representative shall now arrange the interview and shall prepare necessary documentation for Certificate of Eligibility (COE) application at the Japan Immigration.

4. PRE-JAPAN TRAINING AND ORIENTATION

We Guarantee to prepare you for your stay in Japan. It includes Nihongo, Japan culture and work ethics education programs and dpre-departure orientations to know the do’s and don’ts before your departure.

5. JAPAN INTERNSHIP

Excitement begins! We make sure you are well-prepared to meet your Host Company. Aside for enhancing your skills, you can also explore places and its culture and many other aspects that help you to make the most of your time in Japan!

6. POST INTERNSHIP

After Internship, Host Companies can offer working visas to our Interns or we can refer directly to our POEA licenses agencies for a possible career opportunity in Japan. The possibilities are boundless!

Alumni’s can have the chance to find job in Japan, in the Philippines or other countries much easier after completing our internship due to the cultural and professional training and hands-on experience in their Host Establishment/Company.
